DIY Home Decor : Salvage Fir Kitchen

DIY Home Decor

I just love the old fir lumber which was salvaged from an old school in Victoria. Salvaged wood is very time consuming to work with but it is so worth the effort. Every piece has to be denailed and recut and planed. If you leave a nail behind, when you run it through the saw you wreck your blades. Costs about $95 to replace a blade on a larger bandsaw. Ouch. Do that a couple of times and your bill sucks.
