Episode #11: Music Distribution

This episode looks at the DIY resources available to independent musicians to distribute their work. Scott Lewis, the CD Baby “conduit” gave us a tour of the warehouse that holds 1 million independently produced Cds. Mary Ann Naylor came in to talk about Church of Girl, an internet radio station showcasing women’s music of all genres. Todd Berry of Grey Dawn/Grey Day Records is also on this episode. The show includes music from 6 Portland bands: Drats!!!, Swallows, Per Se, Ferocious Eagle, The Vulturines and Sounds Like Fun. It’s also the first episode created with help from engineer Brian Kramer.
